Baab Namaz Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق الشَّافِعِيُّ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرٍو سَمِعَ كُرَيْبًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ بِتُّ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْ شَنَّةٍ وُضُوءًا يُقَلِّلُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُمْتُ فَصَنَعْتُ كَمَا صَنَعَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے اپنی خالہ میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس رات بسر کی، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات میں بیدار ہوئے، اور آپ نے ایک پرانے مشکیزے سے بہت ہی ہلکا وضو کیا، میں بھی اٹھا اور میں نے بھی ویسے ہی کیا جیسے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا تھا ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Amr heard Kuraib saying: I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: 'I stayed overnight with my maternal aunt Maimunah, and the Prophet got up and performed ablution from an old water skin, and he did a brief ablution. Then I got up and did the same as he had done.
