Baab Jannat Ka Wasf Aur Is Ki Naimaton Ka Tazkira

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَحْنُ آخِرُ الْأُمَمِ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ يُحَاسَبُ،‏‏‏‏ يُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ الْأُمَّةُ الْأُمِّيَّةُ وَنَبِيُّهَا؟ فَنَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہم آخری امت ہیں اور سب سے پہلے حساب کے لیے بلائے جائیں گے، کہا جائے گا: امت اور اس کے نبی کہاں ہیں؟ تو ہم اول بھی ہیں اور آخر بھی ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “We are the last of the nations, and the first to be brought to account. It will be said: ‘Where is the unlettered nation and its Prophet?’ So we are the last and the first.”
