Baab Jannat Ka Wasf Aur Is Ki Naimaton Ka Tazkira

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَدْعَاءِ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَيَدْخُلَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَكْثَرُ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ سِوَاكَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سِوَايَ ،‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن ابی الجدعا رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: میری امت کے ایک شخص کی شفاعت کے نتیجہ میں بنو تمیم سے بھی زیادہ لوگ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے، لوگوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ کے علاوہ ( یعنی وہ شخص آپ کے علاوہ کوئی ہے؟ ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں ، میرے علاوہ، ابووائل شقیق بن سلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن ابی الجدعا رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: یہ بات آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے خود سنی ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، میں نے آپ ہی سے سنی ہے۔

English Translation

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Abi Jad’a’ that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: “More than (the members of the tribe of) Banu Tamim will enter Paradise through the intercession of a man from among my nation.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, besides you?” He said: “Besides me.”
