حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِيالضَّحَّاكُ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ لِأَصْحَابِهِ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا مُشَمِّرٌ لِلْجَنَّةِ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ لَا خَطَرَ لَهَا،‏‏‏‏ هِيَ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ نُورٌ يَتَلَأْلَأُ،‏‏‏‏ وَرَيْحَانَةٌ تَهْتَزُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَقَصْرٌ مَشِيدٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَنَهَرٌ مُطَّرِدٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَفَاكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ نَضِيجَةٌ وَزَوْجَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَسْنَاءُ جَمِيلَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَحُلَلٌ كَثِيرَةٌ فِي مَقَامٍ أَبَدًا،‏‏‏‏ فِي حَبْرَةٍ وَنَضْرَةٍ فِي دُارٍ عَالِيَةٍ سَلِيمَةٍ بَهِيَّةٍ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ نَحْنُ الْمُشَمِّرُونَ لَهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُولُوا:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ،‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْجِهَادَ وَحَضَّ عَلَيْهِ.

Urdu Translation

اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دن اپنے صحابہ سے فرمایا: کیا کوئی جنت کے لیے کمر نہیں باندھتا؟ اس لیے کہ جنت جیسی کوئی اور چیز نہیں ہے، رب کعبہ کی قسم، وہ چمکتا ہوا نور ہے، خوشبودار پھول ہے جو جھوم رہا ہے، مضبوط محل ہے، بہتی نہر ہے، وہاں بہت سارے پکے ہوئے میوے اور تیار پھل ہیں، خوبصورت اور خوش اخلاق بیویاں ہیں، کپڑوں کے بہت سارے جوڑے ہیں، ہمیشگی کا مقام ہے، جہاں سدا بہار اور تازگی ہے، اونچا، محفوظ اور روشن محل ہے۔ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے کہا: اے اللہ کے رسول! ہم اس کے لیے کمر باندھتے ہیں، تو آپ نے فرمایا: کہو، ان شاءاللہ، پھر جہاد کا ذکر کیا، اور اس کی رغبت دلائی ۔

English Translation

Usamah bin Zaid said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said one day to his Companions: ‘Who will strive hard with sincerity for Paradise? For there is nothing like Paradise. By the Lord of the Ka’bah, it is sparkling light, sweet basil waving in the breeze, a lofty palace, a flowing river, abundant ripe fruit, a beautiful wife and many fine garments, in a palace of eternal abode, in ease and luxury, in beautiful, strongly-built, lofty houses.’ They said: ‘We will strive heard for it, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Say: In sha’ Allah (if Allah wills).’ Then he mentioned Jihad and encouraged them to engage in it.”
