حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ آخِرَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ خُرُوجًا مِنْهَا،‏‏‏‏ وَآخِرَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ دُخُولًا الْجَنَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ رَجُلٌ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ حَبْوًا،‏‏‏‏ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ اذْهَبْ فَادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَيَأْتِيهَا فَيُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهَا مَلْأَى،‏‏‏‏ فَيَرْجِعُ،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَبِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَدْتُهَا مَلْأَى،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ:‏‏‏‏ اذْهَبْ فَادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَيَأْتِيهَا،‏‏‏‏ فَيُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهَا مَلْأَى،‏‏‏‏ فَيَرْجِعُ،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَبِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَدْتُهَا مَلْأَى،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ:‏‏‏‏ اذْهَبْ فَادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَيَأْتِيهَا فَيُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهَا مَلْأَى،‏‏‏‏ فَيَرْجِعُ،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّهَا مَلْأَى،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ:‏‏‏‏ اذْهَبْ فَادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ لَكَ مِثْلَ الدُّنْيَا وَعَشَرَةَ أَمْثَالِهَا،‏‏‏‏ أَوْ إِنَّ لَكَ مِثْلَ عَشَرَةِ أَمْثَالِ الدُّنْيَا،‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَسْخَرُ بِي أَوْ أَتَضْحَكُ بِي وَأَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِكَ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَكَانَ يُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلًا.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں جانتا ہوں اس کو جو سب سے آخر میں جہنم سے نکلے گا، اور جنت میں سب سے آخر میں داخل ہو گا، وہ شخص جہنم سے گھسٹتا ہوا نکلے گا، اس سے کہا جائے گا: جاؤ اور جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ وہ جنت تک آئے گا تو اس کو لگے گا کہ وہ بھری ہوئی ہے، وہ لوٹ جائے گا اس پر کہے گا: اے میرے رب! میں نے اس کو بھری ہوئی پایا، اللہ فرمائے گا: جاؤ اور جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ، وہ جنت تک آئے گا تو اس کو بھری ہوئی سمجھ کر پھر واپس چلا جائے گا، لوٹ کر کہے گا: اے میرے رب! وہ تو بھری ہوئی ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: جاؤ اور جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ، تمہارے لیے دنیا اور اس کے مثل دس دنیاؤں کی جگہ ( جنت میں ) ہے، وہ کہے گا: کیا تو مجھ سے مذاق کر رہا ہے حالانکہ تو بادشاہ ہے؟، یہ حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ اتنا ہنسے کہ آپ کے اخیر کے دانت ظاہر ہو گئے، ( یعنی کھل کھلا کر ہنس پڑے ) کہا جاتا ہے کہ یہ شخص جنتیوں میں سب سے کم درجے والا ہو گا۔

English Translation

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I know the last of the people of Hell who will be brought forth from it, and the last of the people of Paradise to be admitted to Paradise. (It is) a man who will emerge from Hell crawling, and it will be said to him: ‘Go and enter Paradise.’ He will come to it and it will be made to appear to him as if it is full.’ Allah will say: ‘Go and enter Paradise.’ He will come to it and it will appear to him as if it is full. So he will say: ‘O Lord, I found it full.’ Allah will say: ‘Go and enter Paradise.’ He will come to it and it will be made to appear to him as if it is full. So he will say: ‘O Lord, I found it full.’ Allah will say: ‘Go and enter Paradise, for you will have the like of the world and ten times more, or you will have ten times the like of the world.’ He will say: ‘Are You mocking me, or are You laughing at me, when You are the Sovereign?’” He said: And I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) smiling so broadly that his molar teeth could be seen. And he used to say: This is the lowest of the people of Paradise in status.
