It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah refuses to accept the good deeds of one who follows innovation until he gives up that innovation.'

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْخَيَّاطُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَبَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقْبَلَ عَمَلَ صَاحِبِ بِدْعَةٍ حَتَّى يَدَعَ بِدْعَتَهُ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ کسی بدعتی کا عمل قبول نہیں فرماتا جب تک کہ وہ اپنی بدعت ترک نہ کر دے ۔
