حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا دَلْهَمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُجَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِنْدِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَهْدَى لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُفَّيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ سَاذَجَيْنِ فَلَبِسَهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا .

Urdu Translation

بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نجاشی نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دو سیاہ سادے موزے بطور ہدیہ پیش کئے، آپ نے انہیں پہنا، پھر وضو کیا اور ان پر مسح کیا۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Buraidah from his father that: An-Najashi gave the Prophet a gift of a pair of plain black leather socks. He put them on, then he (performed ablution and) wiped over them.
