It was narrated from Mughirah bin Shu'bah that: The Messenger of Allah performed ablution and wiped over his socks and his sandals

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْهُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْجَوْرَبَيْنِ وَالنَّعْلَيْنِ .

مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا، اور پاتا ہوں اور جوتوں پر مسح کیا ۱؎۔
