حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ هَيَّاجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجُنُبِ هَلْ يَنَامُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ يَأْكُلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ يَشْرَبُ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ .

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جنبی کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا کہ کیا وہ ( بحالت جنابت ) سو سکتا ہے، یا کھا پی سکتا ہے؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، جب وہ نماز جیسا وضو کر لے ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: The Prophet was asked about whether a person who is sexually impure can sleep, or eat, or drink. He said: 'yes, if he does ablution as for the prayer.'
