حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِييَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَاجِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَن بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَكِّرُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الْغَيْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ .

Urdu Translation

بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک غزوہ میں تھے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بادل کے ایام میں نماز جلدی پڑھ لیا کرو، کیونکہ جس کی نماز عصر فوت ہو گئی، اس کا عمل برباد ہو گیا ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Buraidah Al-Aslami said: We were with the Messenger of Allah on a campaign, and he said: 'Hasten to perform prayer on a cloudy day, for whoever misses the 'Asr prayer, all his good deeds will be in vain.'
