Baab Eidein Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا تَأْتُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَسْعَوْنَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأْتُوهَا تَمْشُونَ وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب نماز کے لیے اقامت کہہ دی جائے تو دوڑتے ہوئے نہ آؤ، بلکہ اطمینان سے چل کر آؤ، امام کے ساتھ جتنی نماز ملے پڑھ لو، اور جو چھوٹ جائے اسے پوری کر لو ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah said: When the Iqamah is called for the prayer, do not come running. Come walking with tranquility. Whatever you catch up with, pray, and whatever you miss, complete it.
