It was narrated that Wa’il bin Hujr said: “I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) performing prayer, and he took hold of his left hand with his right.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الضَّرِيرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمَفَضَّلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فَأَخَذَ شِمَالَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ .

وائل بن حجر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا کہ آپ نے اپنا بایاں ہاتھ دائیں ہاتھ سے پکڑا۔
