PM said that overseas Pakistanis act as ambassadors of Pakistan in foreign countries and have rendered great services to the motherland.Addressing a special meeting on affairs related to overseas Pakistanis, the Prime Minister stated that the current government has introduced a major package in recognition of their services. Those who have excelled in different sectors will be awarded civil honors.He further said that the government salutes the passion, love, and sacrifices of overseas Pakistanis for their homeland. They have earned a good name for themselves and for Pakistan across the globe through hard work in fields like medicine, education, engineering, and consultancy, and by earning an honest livelihood.The entire nation is proud of its hardworking overseas Pakistanis.Shehbaz Sharif added that the large participation of overseas Pakistanis in the recent convention reflects their trust in government policies. The government is committed to addressing their issues on a priority basis and will provide them with more facilities, including investment opportunities.
