Ingredients
  1. Basmati rice2 cups
    Medium sized onion1
    Oil ¼ cup
    Bay leaf1
     Whole cumin1 tsp
    Aniseed1
    Cloves2-3
    Cinnamon1 piece
    Green cardamom 2
    Salt1tsp
    Ginger garlic paste1tbsp
    Chutney ingredients
    Mint1 cup
    Fresh desiccated coconut¼ cup
    Green chilies3-4 
Method
    1. Grind 1 cup mint, ¼ cup fresh desiccated coconut and 3-4 green chilies and water to make chutney.
      Heat oil in a pan and fry 1 medium sized onion, 1 tsp of whole cumin,2-3 clovew,1 piece of cinnamon,,1 aniseed and 2 small cardamoms.
      Now add 1 tbsp of garlic ginger, chatni and 1 tsp of salt.
      Then add 3-1/2 cups of water and allow cooking.
      When it starts to boil then add rice and cook on low flame.
      When water dries then simmer it for 6-8 min.
