1. Grind 1 cup mint, ¼ cup fresh desiccated coconut and 3-4 green chilies and water to make chutney.
2. Heat oil in a pan and fry 1 medium sized onion, 1 tsp of whole cumin,2-3 clovew,1 piece of cinnamon,,1 aniseed and 2 small cardamoms.
3. Now add 1 tbsp of garlic ginger, chatni and 1 tsp of salt.
4. Then add 3-1/2 cups of water and allow cooking.
5. When it starts to boil then add rice and cook on low flame.
6. When water dries then simmer it for 6-8 min.
