Ingredients
  1. Quails6
    Onion chopped1
    Gallic4 – 5 cloves
    Ginger1 piece
    Gram flour3 – 4 tbsp
    Saltto taste
    Cumin seeds crushed1 tsp
    All spice powder1 tsp
    Dry mango powder1 tsp
    Chili powder1 tsp
    Coriander powder1 tsp
    Baking powder½ tsp
    Oilfor fry
Method
  • Blend together 1 onion, 4 – 5 cloves of garlic, 1 medium piece of ginger and a little water. Blend to smooth paste.
    Remove paste in a bowl, add in 1 tsp crushed cumin seeds, 1 tsp all spice powder, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp baking powder and salt to taste. Mix well.
    Now marinate quails with prepared marinade. Coat each with 3 – 4 tbsp gram flour and deep fry till golden brown.
    Now arrange fried batair in a serving platter. Sprinkle lemon juice on top and serve hot.
