Ingredients
  1. 1) Basmati Rice(soaked) 1 1/2 cups
  2. 2) Cashew nuts 20-25
  3. 3) Cottage Cheese(paneer) 1 cup
  4. 4) Salt to taste
  5. 5) Ghee for frying 3 tbsp
  6. 6) Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  7. 7) Black Cardamoms 2
  8. 8) Cloves 2
  9. 9) Black Peppercorns 4
  10. 10) Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Method
  • 1. Boil the soaked rice in 4 cups of water till just done.Drain.
  • 2. Add salt to the grated paneer and shape into small marble sized balls.
  • 3. Heat the ghee in a kadhai and deep fry the cashew nuts.Drain.
  • 4. In the same ghee, deep fry the paneer balls till golden.Drain.
  • 5. Heat 3 tbsp of ghee in a kadai, and saute the spices for 1 minute.
  • 6. Stir in the rice & salt.
  • 7. Cover and cook till the rice is heated through.
  • 8. Gently mix in the fried paneer balls & cashew nuts.Serve hot.
