Ingredients
  1. Green tea4 tsp
    Cinnamon1 stick
    Green cardamoms,crushed2
    Cloves2
    Saffron4 pinches
    Blanched almonds,chopped8
    Sugar/honey2 tbsp
Method
  • Boil 3 cups of water in a deep non stick pan along with cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and pour over the tea. Leave to infuse on low heat for 10 minutes.
    Meanwhile, dissolve saffron in a little water by rubbing it gently. Strain the tea and add the saffron liquid together with almonds. Sweeten if you like and serve hot.
