Ingredients
  1. 2 tbsp oil
  2. 1/2 kg mutton mince
  3. 1/2 cup dahi
  4. 2 inch piece ginger, chopped
  5. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  6. 1 tbsp paprika powder
  7. 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  8. 1/2 kg rice, soaked for 20 minutes
  9. 1 tsp saffron, soaked in cup warm water
  10. 1 cup milk
  11. 1 tsp salt
  12. 1 cup pine nuts, toasted
Method
  • Heat oil, add mince and sauté, add garam masala powder, corianderpowder, salt, ginger, paprika powder, curd and cook till mince is browned.
  • Add rice, saffron, milk, salt and water to cook rice. When rice is done, stir in pinenuts and transfer to an oven­proof dish and bake at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes or till completely done.
