  1. • Mince meat ½ kg
  2. • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  3. • Mint leaves 10 chopped
  4. • Green chilies 6
  5. • Onion 1 large
  6. • Gram flour 2 tbsp
  7. • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  8. • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  9. • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  10. • Chili powder 1 tsp
  11. • Salt 1 tsp
  12. • Dried plums 15
  13. Ingredients for masala
  14. • Onion 2 blended
  15. • Ginger garlic 1tsp heaped
  16. • Green chilies 6 chopped
  17. • Oil ½ cup
  18. • Green chilies 4
  19. • Cloves 4
  20. • Black pepper 8
  21. • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  22. • Turmeric ½ tsp
  23. • Salt 1 tsp
  24. • Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
  25. • Yogurt 1 cup
  26. • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Method
  • • Grind together onion, green chilies, mint, ginger garlic, fennel seeds, poppy seeds and cumin seeds to a smooth paste.Mix with mince, salt and chili powder .Add ¼ cup water and mix well.
  • • Add 2 tbsp roasted gram flour; form into balls, filling each ball with 1 dried plum. Reshape into a smooth ball.Heat oil in a wok, fry a few mince balls one at a time, drain and keep aside
  • Method for masala
  • • In a blender blend together onion, ginger garlic and green chilies.Heat ½ cup oil ,add blended paste and fry for 10 minutes.Add whole spices with coriander powder, chili powder, cumin, turmeric and salt, add beaten yogurt.
  • • Fry masala well and add 1 ½ cup water.When the mixture begins to boil boiling add fried koftay, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, serve sprinkled with coriander leaves.
