Ingredients
  1. 500 grams liver (cut into cubes)
  2. 2 medium-sized onions
  3. 4 flakes garlic
  4. 1 piece ginger
  5. 2 piece dry coconut
  6. 1 lap poppy-seeds
  7. 1/2 cup gbee
  8. a tittle milk
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tblsp each of garam masala, coriander powder and powdered cumin seeds
  11. salt and chilli powder to taste
  12. 2 tomatoes (blanched and sliced)
  13. 2 cups coconut milk
  14. 1 handful coriander leaves (chopped)
Method
  • Grind the onion, garlic, ginger, coconut and poppy-seeds to a paste. Heat the ghee and fry the ground paste, sprinkling a little milk now and then till the ghee floats, to the top. Add the liver and fry to a red color. Add all the spices, salt and tomatoes, and cook till dry. Pour in coconut milk and cook till the liver is done. Serve garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
