Ingredients
  1. Mince½ kg
    Black lentils125 gm
    Peas boiled½ cup
    Rice300 gm
    Saltto taste
    Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
    Potatoe3 – 4
    Onion2
    Chili powder1 tbsp
    Turmeric1 tsp
    Cumin seeds1 tsp
    Mix whole spicesas required
    Tomatoes chopped3
    Oil½ cup
Method
  • Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onion and fry till golden.
    Remove a little brown onion and add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste to the remaining, also add ½ kg mince and fry well.
    Add mix whole spices, chopped potatoes, 125 gm whole black lentils, ½ cup boiled peas, 3 chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric and salt to taste. Mix well.
    Now add ½ cup water, cover and cook till tender.
    In another pan heat ¼ cup oil, add 1 tsp cumin seeds, remainingbrown onion, salt to taste, soaked rice and 1 ½ glass of water. Cook till most of the water dries.
    Then cover with a lid and simmer on low flame till rice are fully tender.
    Spread the boiled rice on top of mince mixture and simmer for another 2 – 3 minutes.
    Now dis it out and serve hot.
