Ingredients
  1. ½ kg fenugreek leaves
  2. 1/2 kg brinjal
  3. 2 tblsps oil
  4. ½ tsp turmeric
  5. 1 tsp cumin and coriander (powdered)
  6. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  7. a pinch of asafoetida
  8. salt to taste
Method
  • Remove the stem from the fenugreek leaves, cut and wash well. Cut brinjal into 1 pieces. Heat the oil and add brinjal and the powdered condiments except salt. Gently squeeze out the water from the fenugreek leaves, and add to the brinjal. Put in the salt, and cook till done.
