Ingredients
  1. Beef Pasanday 1 kg
  2. Marination:
  3. Ginger 2 tbsp
  4. Hari mirch 3-4
  5. Green cardamom 3-4
  6. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  7. Meat tenderizer 1 tbsp OR raw papaya 1/4 cup
  8. For Gravy:
  9. Medium sliced onion 3-4
  10. Green cardamom 4-5
  11. Curry leaves 2-3
  12. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  13. Haldi powder 1 tsp
  14. Dhania owder 2 tsp
  15. Laal mirch 11/4 tbsp
  16. Poppy seed+chana paste 2 tbsp
  17. Coconut paste 2 tsp
  18. Hung curd 1 cup
  19. Garam masala 1 tsp
  20. Salt
  21. Ginger
  22. Mint
  23. Hara dhania
  24. Hari mirch
  25. For Bhigar:
  26. Ghee
  27. Lemon Juice
Method
  • Grind all the ingredients with water to make a thick paste and marinate the beef for 3-4 hours.
  • Heat oil in a voke, add the onion,curry leaves and green cardamomsand,fry onion to golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste,haldi,dhania powder,lal mirch,poppy seed and chana paste,coconut and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add the beef,garam masala and yogurt,mix and smoke it with charcoal.
  • Cover and cook the beef on dum.cook until beef is tender.
  • Add salt and ginger.When the oils comes up,;add ginger,hari mirch,hara dhania and take out in a serving dish.
  • Heat up ghee and lemin juice and pour over the beef pasanda.
  • Serve with ginger,mint,hara dhania,onion ring,tomato slices.

This recipe of pasanda is such a different but normally peoples want to eat without any chapati and roti that is why i like to roast it.

The meat of pasanday is very expensive but the taste is not good. Some times i fried it after mixing yougard and other ingredients.
