Ingredients
  1. 8 oz. peeled or frozen prawns
  2. 1 clove garlic
  3. ½ -inch fresh root ginger
  4. 2 green chillis
  5. 1 onion
  6. Pinch of chilli powder
  7. Pinch of turmeric powder
  8. Pinch freshly ground black pepper
  9. 1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves salt to taste
  10. I egg
  11. Breadcrumbs
  12. Butter for frying
Method
  • Finely mince the prawns, garlic, ginger, chillis and onion and mix with the ground spices, coriander leaves and salt. Mix in the egg and with floured hands shape into flat cutlets. Coat with breadcrumbs and fry.
  • Note: Preparation time 15 minutes, Cooking time 15 minutes, To serve 4
