Ingredients
  1. 1) 90 ml cake flour
  2. 2) 45 ml rice flour
  3. 3) 2.5 ml baking powder
  4. 4) 45 ml sesame seeds ( Thill)
  5. 5) 10 ml red curry paste or any other curry paste
  6. 6)20 ml soy sauce or vinegar
  7. 7) 1 egg beaten
  8. 8) 150 ml cold water
  9. 9) 350 gr peeled prawns
  10. 10) little extra flour
Method
  • 1. Mix together flour, rice flour, baking powder and sesame seeds.
  • 2. Using a whisk, stir in the curry paste, soy sauce, egg and water to make a thin coating batter.
  • 3. If a thicker paste is desired, use lesser water.
  • 4. Toss prawns in extra flour - dip in batter.
  • 5. Deep fry until golden brown.
  • 6. Fry on medium heat.
  • 7. Drain excess oil and remove from oil.
  • 8. Serve hot with chutneys or sauces.
