  1. 1) Prawns 8-10 medium
  2. 2) Spinach 1 kg
  3. 3) Salt to taste
  4. 4) Mustard Oil 2 tbsp
  5. 5) Black Pepper(crushed) 1/2 tsp
  6. 6) Curry Leaves 1/2 cup
  7. 7) Green Chilli 1
  8. 8) Coriander(chopped) 1/2 cup
  9. 9) Chaat Masala to sprinkle
  10. 10) Juice of lemon 1
Method
  • 1. Wash and de-vein prawns and marinate in salt and lemon juice for 2 hours.
  • 2. Wash, boil and grind spinach to a fine paste along with curry leaves, green chilli and coriander, using very little water.
  • 3. Mix in crushed black pepper and mustard oil.
  • 4. Marinate prawns in this mixture for another hour.
  • 5. Skewer prawns and grill for 7-8 minutes, basting occasionally.
  • 6. Sprinkle chaat masala and lemon juice over and serve immediately.
