Wash 300 gm rice and soak in fresh water for 20 minutes.
Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan, add in 1 tsp cumin seeds, 4 green cardamom and 4 cloves.
Now add 1 chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Then add in soaked rice. Cook for 3 minutes.
Add 3 cup tomato juice, ¾ tsp chili powder and salt to taste. Mix well. Cook till boiling. Lower the flame and simmer till done.
Peel onion and fry skin in oil. Garnish rice with fried onion skin and serve hot.
