Ingredients
  1. For stock:
  2. -1 lb goat /lamb meat
  3. -1 medium sized onion
  4. -1 tsp salt
  5. -1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  6. -1/2 tsp black pepper powdered/red pepper may also be used
  7. -Add with enough water to cover the meat and pocket.
  8. Pocket Ingredients:
  9. -3 garlic
  10. -3 cloves
  11. -2 cinnamon stick
  12. -10 pepper corns
  13. -1 tbsp fennel
  14. -1 tbsp cumin
  15. -1 tbsp coriander seeds
Method
  • 1. -Boil the above ingredients together and leave a stock of 3/4 cup.
  • 2. -Refrigerate the stock for 2 hours and take out a fatty layer that comes while it cools down.
  • 3. -Add 2 cups of soaked Rice
  • 4. -Gently stir the ingredients together.
  • 5. -Cook till Rice are done.
  • 6. -serve with fried onions on top
