Society is divided into three
class i.e Lower class, middle class and upper class. The society is set by the
upper class people with some standards which is very hard follow by the lower
and middle class people. The lower class people are those who depends on the
other people but the middle class people are called the strugglers. They
struggle throughout their lives just to meet the requirements and standards set
by the upper class.
The middle class are also called the “sandwich” class. These white collar
workers have more money than those below them on the “social ladder,” but less
than those above them. They divide into two levels according to wealth,
education, and prestige. The lower middle class is often made up of less
educated people with lower incomes, such as managers, small business owners,
teachers, and secretaries. The upper middle class is often made up of highly
educated business and professional people with high incomes, such as doctors,
lawyers, stockbrokers, and CEOs.
What is a life of middle class family ?
A middle class family has so much to think of. They always wanted to be at the
level of upper class. They work hard to give the best education to their
children. The burden of daughters marriages and their dowry takes away their
sleep. And if there are more than one daughters in the family than its a big
tension.
Tv and social media plays a great role in diverting the minds on the middle
class generation towards the activites that makes them to follow the upper class
people. This is the main issues that why the young generation starts working in
such an early age, mostly from middle class family. For example; a teen age boy
working in call centre to buy an iphone, girls teaching in school so that they
can buy so many branded clothes from their salaries.
The rise of middle class transforms the way people think, behave and relate to
each other, the process does not do away with inequalities of caste and
community. Those trying to move up in the new social and economic order use
their available resources and networks, including those of caste and kinship to
stabilize and improve their positions in the emerging social order, with a new
framework of inequality.
