Manager Must be a good leader

Now days many organizations are focusing on work force diversity, changing and challenging role of mangers to improve the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness towards achieving the objectives in contributing project or organizational goal. But in my view, here question arises that whether the person sitting on the driving position is willing and early adopter to lead and able to act as leader as per scenario. In my opinion the person leading the team are not clear as per strategic approach and the problem exist here.

To mitigate the issue, firstly the organization should observe the person to be hired should know about his / her approach in changing their role. Even some good managers are not good leaders as some people have good leadership qualities but they don’t have capacity to deliver the things as per organizational requirements. Some people have both qualities but they are brutally disturbed from management to make a decision.

Here, I would say that a manager should not only to act as manager he / she should like head of households who takes the whole family with love, respect, care, dignity and ensures privacy.

Mangers should avoid to arrogance, involving in privacy and remain side away which will eventually receive respect and love. This is a stage where a mutual relation builds up among the managers and the staff. In this way manager can successfully in achieving their task and may up not only their personal project but also team and the organization as well.

In past, authoritative, bureaucratic styles used to control the human capital but now time is changed and only possible due to participatory and democratic way to boost the organization.
In this way organization those invest on human capital also earn lots of profit and sustain their business as their competitors. A three - D approach can be used by the organization I.e. Recruitment, Retire and Retain. When organization recruit a person and offers job and retain employee through different facilities, bonus, etc. then employee works with devotion, sincerity, love with work, respect , dignity and avoid even unintentional loss through his work leads to retirement. But this all depends if the manger will be a good leader not only a manager.
