"Sindh's Cry for Help: Battling Banditry's Reign of Terror"
(Muhammad Ali, Petaro)
"Bandits Strategically Positioning in Armor Hold"
In the heart of Sindh, a once vibrant land now bears the scars of relentless banditry. Villages, once bustling with life, now cower in fear as marauders strike without warning, leaving devastation in their wake. Kidnappings, murders, and armed robberies have become grim realities for those who are residing in the riverine areas of upper Sindh and neighboring cities of Punjab. Traveling through districts like Ghotki, Shikarpur, and Kashmore has become perilous, with holduppers targeting innocent civilians for ransom. If they couldn't receive that money they killed them with ruthless brutality. Their brutality knows no bounds, as evidenced by their recent attack on an ambulance carrying a critically ill cardiac-arrested patient near Shikarpur. This callous act, targeting someone in the throes of a life-and-death battle, underscores the ruthlessness of these bandits.
In the past notably during the PML-N tenure in 2014-15, best efforts had been made against bandits. A special force comprising Pakistan Army commandos had been deployed to the dacoit residing areas to handle the menace. These operation had yielded better results.
The resurgence of dacoit rule in Sindh is alarming. It's a plea to the Prime Minister, Army Chief, and CM Sindh to intervene urgently, as the safety and security of citizens hang in the balance. The people of Sindh deserve to live without fear, free from the tyranny of bandits who have instilled a reign of terror in their once peaceful communities. It's time for decisive action to restore peace and order to the land of Sindh.
