A rich Tribute to Dr. Alishba Eman

Pakistan is a rich country in terms of having an ocean of talented youth who represent 60% of its total population. These youth are energetic, motivated, and if they are rightly guided, facilitated, and encouraged, they can turn Pakistan into a developed one, to possess a dignified position in the international community. Dr. Alishba Eman is a young, enthusiastic, highly talented Pakistani scientist and the first Pakistani lady whose research on Artificial Intelligence-based human brain has received international acclaim and recognition, an honour and pride for the whole of Pakistan. The News Lark has been honoured to introduce Pakistani youth’s talent here and abroad. I met with this young and highly talented lady, discussed with her about her outstanding achievements, and decided to pen down her story. Dr. Alishba Eman belongs to a highly respectable Syed family with immense love and respect for our beloved Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be upon him) and his family ( Ahle Bait). She is also a highly patriotic Pakistani and wants to serve the cause of Pakistan. She has a strong, valued academic background, and she has been a very dedicated, committed, and outstanding shining star throughout her career. As an aspiring and visionary doctor and high-performing student throughout her educational journey, she remained farsighted, totally focused on her future career. She selected a different and unique field to explore the wonderful world of neuroscience, and having a sympathetic and humanitarian nature, she wants to do something for the betterment and welfare of patients. She actively pursued research, academic writing, and interdisciplinary learning, integrating artificial intelligence with healthcare. This combination of clinical understanding, academic excellence, and innovation-driven learning shaped her ability to contribute meaningfully to conducting medical research and Artificial Intelligence-based health solutions. She has also been a God-gifted creative and is the author of four books and has contributed more than ten research publications, reflecting her strong commitment to scientific inquiry, medical innovation, and knowledge dissemination. She has an in-depth observation of the patients’ brains and observed that many brain and mental health conditions, including brain tumours, are often diagnosed late due to limitations in conventional diagnostic methods. This provoked her thinking power and motivated her to explore how artificial intelligence could assist in early detection by analysing complex brain patterns, ultimately supporting clinicians and improving patient outcomes. Her Artificial Intelligence-based project was a collaborative effort between her and his brother. She contributed to the neuroscience foundation, clinical understanding of brain tumours, data interpretation, and dataset guidance to ensure medical relevance. Her brother, with his technical expertise, developed and trained the artificial intelligence model. Together by the grace of Almighty Allah, they created a “BRAIN TUMOR DETECTATION MODEL “, that integrates medical knowledge with advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques to support accurate and meaningful analysis. The model assists in early screening by identifying subtle patterns associated with brain tumours that may be missed during initial assessments. Early detection allows timely intervention, better treatment planning, and improved prognosis. The model is designed to support doctors in clinical decision-making rather than replace human expertise. When I asked her about her feelings, she said that she was deeply grateful to Almighty Allah and bowed her head before Him in gratitude, thankful to Him millions of times, and remained humble, bowing to the earth. She said that that achievement was not only personal but also represented the potential of Pakistani youth, especially young women, to contribute to science, innovation, and global healthcare solutions. In recognition of meritorious services and outstanding achievement, she received an appreciation certificate, an endowment, and a letter of recommendation from the Deputy Commissioner of Karachi South. She has also been awarded a certificate of appreciation from the Human Rights Department, Government of Sindh, for being the youngest female author and for contributing to the idea building of an Artificial Intelligence-based application aimed at supporting the human rights process. This initiative indirectly promotes mental well-being, as resolving social and legal concerns significantly improves psychological health. Moreover, her work and journey have also been recognized through an interview by WomenInTechPK, highlighting her contribution as a young woman working at the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence. The News Lark, Karachi, has dedicated its pages to the promotion of Pakistani talent and rendered valuable services for the cause of Pakistan. Recently, as a Senior Research Editor, I have completed 120 articles on China and 100 articles on Russia. I have produced 40 articles each on Oman, Türkiye, Indonesia, Malaysia, and more than a dozen on Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, and Qatar. Having an interview with Dr. Alishba and writing an article on her is another feather in the cap of the News Lark, Karachi. Dr. Alishba Eman’s core inspiration is from Hazrat Syeda Fatima ( May Allah Peace be upon her), the beloved daughter of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and mother of Syedena Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain (May Allah be pleased with them). She is really a role model for every Muslim woman. She is also inspired by her mother, who brought her up with great care and affection and despite many odds and difficulties, fully supported and facilitated her. Alishba is now a source of pride for her family. Her plan is to continue advanced research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and brain health, develop ethical artificial-based healthcare tools, expand educational initiatives for underprivileged youth, and represent Pakistan through meaningful scientific contributions at international platforms.
There is a deliberate plan to disappoint our youth. Pakistan’s future youth, like Dr. Alishba Eman, are rays of hope for our youth. Instead of complaining about the absence of resources, she continued her journey towards betterment, and she was never disappointed about her future, and became a source of pride for the whole of Pakistan. She believes that the strongest response is persistence and self-belief. She advises Pakistani youth that they should focus on skill development, critical thinking, and continuous learning. Even when opportunities seem limited, consistency, discipline, and ethical hard work can create success pathways. She is a patriotic Pakistani and feels proud to represent Pakistan. Despite challenges, she says that our country is rich in talent and potential. She hopes that her work will encourage confidence in Pakistani youth and highlight Pakistan as a nation capable of innovation, intellect, and positive impact globally. Dr Alishba Eman is a source of motivation for our youth, and it is the duty of the Pakistani media to highlight her success. I am including her story in my unique project “ ROSHAN SITAREY”. I appeal to all Pakistanis specially philanthropist and wealthy segment of Pakistan, to help me launch ROSHAN SITAREY as a movement to make this project the story of every Pakistani home.
