I would like to draw the
attention of Media toward devastating standard of education in
Mirpurkhas.Mirpurkhas is the Fourth largest city of Sindh, but heavily neglected
in development process. Youth of Mirpurkhas can not understand where to contact
to change the shape of Mirpurkhas. In past it was very peaceful and clean. After
floods the entire city has converted into dumping place where no sanitation
facility is available. Here are mushroom growth of many housing scheme without
proper utility/ civic facility. People of other cities have inundated this city
and they have made palaces in Mirpurkhas, where as real habitants of city are
living in same old constructed house, without modern luxuries. No govt medical
colleges in the city. No well established garden, zoo, entertainment place.
Currently Ars Council, Mirpurkhas has been established to encourage youth and
promote cultural activities in the District.
By viewing the Mirpurkhas city one can easily assume that this could become
International city if all sort of facilities provided to citizen. Lot of
potential are available in Mirpurkhas. The educated people lags behind in
development process, as they are not encouraged. The lethargic and lengthy
process in creation of any good developmental scheme only rests with Govt. The
bad governance and red tapism is hurdle in development of Mirpurkhas.
The Baldia of Mirpurkhas was rich in financing many projects, because they own
lot of Shops whose rent they draw and lot of other developmental charges they
from citizens, but they are not providing facilities to Mirpurkhas city, which
is right of every citizen.
We could only repent our destruction of the city, because influential are silent
who can do each and every thing for having latest facility in Mirpurkhas.
