How does Islam care about travellers !

All praise is due to Allah SWT
who blessed us with Islam which is the religion of peace,harmony and love . It
is the beauty of Islam that it encompasses the discussions of every walk of life
in its categoric and culminated style. Islam emphasizes upon the significance
and the needs of Social Interactions in a society . Today I'm trying my best to
enlighten that How is The Religion of LOVE and HARMONY i.e. Islam is caring
about the Travellers .
Following are the apparent themes which enlighten the topic :
1- TRAVELLERS IN THE MASARIFs of Zakat :
Those who have to pay the poor-due i.e.Zakat (Sahibe Nisab : A person having the
wealth , reaching to a certain value ), they can pay their obligatory charity to
Traveller which has been declared as one of the masraf of Zakat to be paid .
Holy Quran states :
“As-Sadaqaat (means Zakaah) are only for the Furaqaa (Poor) and Al- Masakeen
(the poor) and those employed to collect (the funds); and to attract the hearts
of those who have been inclined (towards Islam); and to free the captives; and
for those in debt; and for Allaah’s Cause , and for the traveller, a duty
imposed by Allaah.And Allaah is All-Knower, All-Wise” [Al-Tawbah 9:60]
2- Salat – AlQasar (Shortened prayer) :
Qasar means literally means in Arabic language to shorten.
Holy Quran states : “And when you travel in the land, there is no sin on you if
you shorten As-Salaah (the prayer) , if you fear that the disbelievers may put
you in trial (attack you), verily, the disbelievers are ever unto you open
enemies” [Al-Nisa 4:101]
In Sunan AlNasai it is narrated : “Allah has waived half the prayer for the
traveller.”
3- Easiness in Fasting :
Fasting is included in Pillars of Islam , here it has been made easy for
travelers to make up the missed days when they will be free , even the concerned
Missed days are from month Ramadan. This subject is described clearly in verse
184 from Sura AlBaqarah.
4- Facility of TAYAMMUM in journey :
Travellers have been facilitated with TAYAMMUM , in case if they didn't find
water for cleansing purpose , it is illustrated in verse 6 of Sura AlMaidah .
5-Readily Acceptance of Dua :
For a muslim, when he supplicates Allah SWT ,he becomes spiritually satisfied
that he had done up what he all had . We know Allah accepts each and every
person's supplication and grants him even better than what he wanted . It is a
normal condition . A person's spiritual satisfaction get intensified when he
gets his supplication readily answered . This happens with traveler . It is
established in Authentic narrations of Prophet SAW regarding readily acceptance
of supplications or invocations of traveler.
