Terrorist attacks on schools and colleges are risen then any other point around the world in 40 years, according to long analysis of global terrorism. Researchers of university of Maryland attacks on educational organization between 1970 to 2013.

The report, terrorist attack on education , examines the long term incidents of deliberate aggression against place of learning. Researchers say that fatal assaults on school such as Peshawar on north west of Pakistan, where more then 140 students and staff members were killed, make a deadly and unusual departure from typical pattern. Between 1970 to 2013 , more then two third of terrorist attacks on schools and colleges were not cause any death, among all terrorist attacks in this era, education represented about 3% of targets. Pakistan, last four decades has experience more attacks on education system then any other country. Most of these have been non-lethal attacks on school and colleges, with arson device most common attack. According to the last year analysis, a report data lagging a range of attacks and intimidation on staff, pupils and building, from the individual criminal gangs and government forces as well as terrorist groups. This recorded almost 10,000 incidents since 2009.

These all are the facts and record analysis of attacks on education. If government and state agencies were serious about protecting our educational institutes from terrorist, they were identify and address root causes of terrorism.
