Sexual Education for the Youth??
(Muhammad Rafique Etesame, Ahmedpureast)
Islam is the religion of purity
and piety and advises to its believers to have good morality and character and
surrender themselves before all the commands of Allah All-mighty. Those who do
good deeds, are the really successful ones in this world and also in the
Hereafter.
Unfortunately, there is a class in our society that want to see a “Modern
Islam”, they believe that the “Old Islam” that consists of the good example (Uswa-e-Hasana)
of the holy Prophet Mohammad(may peace and mercy of Allah be upon him), and the
rightly guided Caliphs and Companions of the holy Prophet (PBUH) and other good
people of the Ummah, cannot meet the challenges of the modern age.
So, there must be some changes into it; for example, veil (purdah) is against
Islam. Women should go out to bazaars and markets without ‘Hijab’ and also
sexual education should be given at school and college level aiming that the
youth, particularly the teen age may not face any sexual problems in the future.
They write articles in the newspapers and magazines in favor of their secular
and free-minded opinions.
I want to ask them whether they would like to begin this ‘sacred work’ from
their own homes by giving sexual education to their daughters, sisters and then
allow them to do its “practical” having sexual relations to others?
Surely not! Then why for others?
Islam gives honor to the Muslim women as being a respected Mom, a faithful wife
and the obedient to parents’ daughter. Such are the women that, according to the
teachings of Islam, will be entered in Paradise at the Day of Resurrection.
May Allah All-Mighty give us power to act upon all His commands, Ameen.
