Laylat al-Qadr - Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating and drinking from dawn until sunset. The last ten days are the important part of Ramadan. One of these nights is called Laylat al Qadr, a night better than a thousand months. It is the anniversary of the night Muslims believe the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
