Grapes (Vitisvinifera) belong to family vitaceae. Common name of grapes is angoor,Darkshapandu, and Darkshapazham.

Grapes are the known of “The Queen of Fruit”. Red green and black/blue are three different categories of grapes on the basis of color. Grapes are not only wonderful and flavorfullfruit but it also very beneficial for our health. Grapes are contain immunity enhance vitamin K,A, C andvitamin B6.Grapes are great sources of phytonutrients, mainly phenols.Grapes have contain niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, foliate, and minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, and high water content which helps body hydrated. Grapes fruit also contain fiber, antioxidant healthy carbs and moderate amount of protein, flavonoids

Grapes help for the relieve blood pressure patient. So these are recommended for people with high blood pressure to reduce the effect of sodium on the body.

Grapes are sweet in taste but itdon’t elevate blood sugar and not they significantly increase insulin level. So the diabetic’s patient can eat the grapes.

Grapes are affective for eyes health. Regularly consumption of grapes is help to protecting retina from deterioration.
