فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ وَضَعْتُهَاۤ اُنْثٰىؕ-وَ اللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْؕ-وَ لَیْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْاُنْثٰىۚ-وَ اِنِّیْ سَمَّیْتُهَا مَرْیَمَ وَ اِنِّیْۤ اُعِیْذُهَا بِكَ وَ ذُرِّیَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ ﴿۳۶﴾

پھر جب اسے جنا بولی، اے رب میرے! یہ تو میں نے لڑکی جنی (ف۷۰) اور اللہ جو خوب معلوم ہے جو کچھ وہ جنی، اور وہ لڑکا جو اس نے مانگا اس لڑکی سا نہیں (ف۷۱) اور میں نے اس کا نام مریم رکھا (ف۷۲) اور میں اسے اور اس کی اولاد کو تیری پناہ میں دیتی ہوں راندے ہوئے شیطان سے، ﴿۳۶﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) جب ان کے ہاں بچہ پیدا ہوا اور جو کچھ ان کے ہاں پیدا ہوا تھا خدا کو خوب معلوم تھا تو کہنے لگیں کہ پروردگار! میرے تو لڑکی ہوئی ہے اور (نذر کے لیے) لڑکا (موزوں تھا کہ وہ) لڑکی کی طرح (ناتواں) نہیں ہوتا اور میں نے اس کا نام مریم رکھا ہے اور میں اس کو اور اس کی اولاد کو شیطان مردود سے تیری پناہ میں دیتی ہوں ﴿۳۶﴾

Surah Al Imran Ayat 36 with English Translation

And when she was delivered she said: My Lord! Lo! I am delivered of a female - Allah knew best of what she was delivered - the male is not as the female; and lo! I have named her Mary, and lo! I crave Thy protection for her and for her offspring from Satan the outcast. ﴾36﴿
