Surah Al Imran is chapter 3 of the Holy Quran. It contains 200 verses (ayat), 3506 words and 14605 letters. The Surah consists of 20 Ruku. It is a Madani surah and was revealed in Medina and is one of the most important to the teachings of the Islamic. This Surah is named Al Imran by the family of Imran who was the father of Maryam (Mary) and points to the stories of the Prophets and the examples of the righteous people with which Imran (his family) was connected.
