وَ لَا تَنْكِحُوا الْمُشْرِكٰتِ حَتّٰى یُؤْمِنَّؕ-وَ لَاَمَةٌ مُّؤْمِنَةٌ خَیْرٌ مِّنْ مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَّ لَوْ اَعْجَبَتْكُمْۚ-وَ لَا تُنْكِحُوا الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ حَتّٰى یُؤْمِنُوْاؕ-وَ لَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَیْرٌ مِّنْ مُّشْرِكٍ وَّ لَوْ اَعْجَبَكُمْؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ یَدْعُوْنَ اِلَى النَّارِ ۚۖ-وَ اللّٰهُ یَدْعُوْۤا اِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ بِاِذْنِهٖۚ-وَ یُبَیِّنُ اٰیٰتِهٖ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَتَذَكَّرُوْنَ ﴿۲۲۱﴾

اور شرک والی عورتوں سے نکاح نہ کرو جب تک مسلمان نہ ہوجائیں (ف۴۱۳) اور بیشک مسلمان لونڈی مشرکہ سے اچھی ہے (ف۴۳۲) اگرچہ وہ تمہیں بھاتی ہو اور مشرکوں کے نکاح میں نہ دو جب تک وہ ایمان نہ لائیں (ف۴۳۳) اور بیشک مسلمان غلام مشرک سے اچھا ہے اگرچہ وہ تمہیں بھاتا ہو، وہ دوزخ کی طرف بلاتے ہیں (ف۴۳۴) اور اللہ جنت اور بخشش کی طرف بلاتا ہے اپنے حکم سے اور اپنی آیتیں لوگوں کے لئے بیان کرتا ہے کہ کہیں وہ نصیحت مانیں، ﴿۲۲۱﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور (مومنو) مشرک عورتوں سے جب تک کہ ایمان نہ لائیں نکاح نہ کرنا۔ کیونکہ مشرک عورت خواہ تم کو کیسی ہی بھلی لگے اس سے مومن لونڈی بہتر ہے۔ اور (اسی طرح) مشرک مرد جب تک ایمان نہ لائیں مومن عورتوں کو ان کو زوجیت میں نہ دینا کیونکہ مشرک (مرد) سے خواہ وہ تم کو کیسا ہی بھلا لگے مومن غلام بہتر ہے۔ یہ (مشرک لوگوں کو) دوزخ کی طرف بلاتے ہیں۔ اور خدا اپنی مہربانی سے بہشت اور بخشش کی طرف بلاتا ہے۔ اور اپنے حکم لوگوں سے کھول کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے تاکہ نصیحت حاصل کریں ﴿۲۲۱﴾

Surah Baqarah Ayat 221 with English Translation

Wed not idolatresses till they believe; for lo! a believing bondwoman is better than an idolatress though she please you; and give not your daughters in marriage to idolaters till they believe, for lo! a believing slave is better than an idolater though he please you. These invite unto the Fire, and Allah inviteth unto the Garden, and unto forgiveness by His grace, and expoundeth His revelations to mankind that haply they may remember. ﴾221﴿
