وَ مَاۤ اَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ اِلَّاۤ اِنَّهُمْ لَیَاْكُلُوْنَ الطَّعَامَ وَ یَمْشُوْنَ فِی الْاَسْوَاقِؕ-وَ جَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةًؕ-اَتَصْبِرُوْنَۚ-وَ كَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِیْرًا ﴿۲۰﴾

اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے جتنے رسول بھیجے سب ایسے ہی تھے کھانا کھاتے اور بازاروں میں چلتے (ف۳۶) اور ہم نے تم میں ایک کو دوسرے کی جانچ کیا ہے (ف۳۷) اور اے لوگو! کیا تم صبر کرو گے (ف۳۸) اور اے محبوب! تمہارا رب دیکھتا ہے (ف۲۹) ﴿۲۰﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے جتنے پیغمبر بھیجے ہیں سب کھانا کھاتے تھے اور بازاروں میں چلتے پھرتے تھے۔ اور ہم نے تمہیں ایک دوسرے کے لئے آزمائش بنایا ہے۔ کیا تم صبر کرو گے۔ اور تمہارا پروردگار تو دیکھنے والا ہے ﴿۲۰﴾
