وَ قَالَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَوْ لَا نُزِّلَ عَلَیْهِ الْقُرْاٰنُ جُمْلَةً وَّاحِدَةًۚۛ-كَذٰلِكَۚۛ-لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهٖ فُؤَادَكَ وَ رَتَّلْنٰهُ تَرْتِیْلًا ﴿۳۲﴾

اور کافر بولے قرآن ان پر ایک ساتھ کیوں نہ اتار دیا (ف۵۸) ہم نے یونہی بتدریج سے اتارا ہے کہ اس سے تمہارا دل مضبوط کریں (ف۵۹) اور ہم نے اسے ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھا (ف۶۰) ﴿۳۲﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ اس پر قرآن ایک ہی دفعہ کیوں نہیں اُتارا گیا۔ اس طرح (آہستہ آہستہ) اس لئے اُتارا گیا کہ اس سے تمہارے دل کو قائم رکھیں۔ اور اسی واسطے ہم اس کو ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھتے رہے ہیں ﴿۳۲﴾
