وَ اِنْ كَادُوْا لَیَفْتِنُوْنَكَ عَنِ الَّذِیْۤ اَوْحَیْنَاۤ اِلَیْكَ لِتَفْتَرِیَ عَلَیْنَا غَیْرَهٗ ﳓ وَ اِذًا لَّاتَّخَذُوْكَ خَلِیْلًا ﴿۷۳﴾

اور وہ تو قریب تھا کہ تمہیں کچھ لغزش دیتے ہماری وحی سے جو ہم نے تم کو بھیجی کہ تم ہماری طرف کچھ اور نسبت کردو، اور ایسا ہوتا تو وہ تم کو اپنا گہرا دو ست بنالیتے (ف۱۶۴) ﴿۷۳﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) اور اے پیغمبر جو وحی ہم نے تمہاری طرف بھیجی ہے قریب تھا کہ یہ (کافر) لوگ تم کو اس سے بچلا دیں تاکہ تم اس کے سوا اور باتیں ہماری نسبت بنالو۔ اور اس وقت وہ تم کو دوست بنا لیتے ﴿۷۳﴾
