حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ذُكِرَ الْعَزْلُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لِمَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ زَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَفْعَلْ ذَاكَ أَحَدُكُمْ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ نَفْسٌ مَخْلُوقَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ خَالِقُهَا. قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ كَرِهَ الْعَزْلَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ.

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس عزل کا ذکر کیا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی ایسا کیوں کرتا ہے؟“۔ ابن ابی عمر نے اپنی حدیث میں یہ اضافہ کیا ہے: ”اور آپ نے یہ نہیں کہا کہ تم میں سے کوئی ایسا نہ کرے“، اور ان دونوں نے اپنی حدیث میں یہ بھی کہا ہے کہ ”جس جان کو بھی اللہ کو پیدا کرنا ہے وہ اسے پیدا کر کے ہی رہے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- یہ اس کے علاوہ اور بھی طرق سے ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ سے مروی ہے، ۳- اس باب میں جابر رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے، ۴- صحابہ کرام وغیرہم میں سے اہل علم کی ایک جماعت نے عزل کو مکروہ قرار دیا ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Sa'eed narrated: Azl was mentined before the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'Why would one of you do that?'
