حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ حَرَّمَ كُلَّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ،‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدَ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق.

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر کچلی دانت والے درندے کو حرام قرار دیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- صحابہ کرام اور دیگر لوگوں میں سے اکثر اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے، عبداللہ بن مبارک، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا بھی یہی قول ہے ۱؎۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited every predator that possesses canine teeth.
