أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَّنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ بِمَعْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ لِوَقْتِ الْعَصْرِ بِالْأَمْسِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ أَصَحُّ شَيْءٍ فِي الْمَوَاقِيتِ حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ فِي الْمَوَاقِيتِ قَدْ رَوَاهُ عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جبرائیل نے میری امامت کی“، پھر انہوں نے ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث کی طرح اسی مفہوم کی حدیث ذکر کی۔ البتہ انہوں نے اس میں «لوقت العصر بالأمس» کا ٹکڑا ذکر نہیں کیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے ۱؎، اور ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: اوقات نماز کے سلسلے میں سب سے صحیح جابر رضی الله عنہ والی حدیث ہے جسے انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے مرفوعاً روایت کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Jabir bin Abdullah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: Jibril led me (in Salat) . He mentioned something similar to the Hadith of Ibn Abbas (no. 149) in meaning, but he did not mention: At the time of Asr the day before.
