Narrated Abu Hurairah: Some meat was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and a foreleg was presented to him, and he used to like it, so he bit from it. He said: There are narrations on this topic from Ibn Mas'ud, 'Aishah, 'Abdullah bin Ja'far, and Abu 'Ubaidah. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Abu Hayyan's (a narrator in the chain) name is Yahya bin Sa'eed bin Hayyan At-Taimi. Abu Zur'ah bin 'Amr bin Jarir's name is Harim.

حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَحْمٍ فَرُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ الذِّرَاعُ وَكَانَتْ تُعْجِبُهُ فَنَهَسَ مِنْهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو حَيَّانَ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو زَرْعَةَ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ اسْمُهُ هَرِمٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں گوشت لایا گیا اور آپ کو دست پیش کی گئی، آپ کو دست بہت پسند تھی، چنانچہ آپ نے اسے دانت سے نوچ کر کھایا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن مسعود، عائشہ، عبداللہ بن جعفر اور ابوعبیدہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- ابوحیان کا نام یحییٰ بن سعید بن حیان ہے اور ابوزرعہ بن عمرو بن جریر کا نام ہرم ہے۔
