حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ،‏‏‏‏ وَيَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ الْأَفْرِيقِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الصُّدَائِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُؤَذِّنَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَذَّنْتُ فَأَرَادَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يُقِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ أَخَا صُدَاءٍ قَدْ أَذَّنَ وَمَنْ أَذَّنَ فَهُوَ يُقِيمُ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ زِيَادٍ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَفْرِيقِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْأَفْرِيقِيُّ هُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ وَغَيْرُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَحْمَدُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا أَكْتُبُ حَدِيثَ الْأَفْرِيقِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَرَأَيْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيل يُقَوِّي أَمْرَهُ وَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ مُقَارِبُ الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّ مَنْ أَذَّنَ فَهُوَ يُقِيمُ.

Urdu Translation

زیاد بن حارث صدائی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے فجر کی اذان دینے کا حکم دیا تو میں نے اذان دی، پھر بلال رضی الله عنہ نے اقامت کہنی چاہی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قبیلہ صداء کے ایک شخص نے اذان دی ہے اور جس نے اذان دی ہے وہی اقامت کہے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اس باب میں ابن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے بھی روایت ہے، ۲- زیاد رضی الله عنہ کی روایت کو ہم صرف افریقی کی سند سے جانتے ہیں اور افریقی محدثین کے نزدیک ضعیف ہیں۔ یحییٰ بن سعید قطان وغیرہ نے ان کی تضعیف کی ہے۔ احمد کہتے ہیں: میں افریقی کی حدیث نہیں لکھتا، لیکن میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل کو دیکھا وہ ان کے معاملے کو قوی قرار دے رہے تھے اور کہہ رہے تھے کہ یہ مقارب الحدیث ہیں، ۳- اکثر اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے کہ جو اذان دے وہی اقامت کہے۔

English Translation

Ziyad bin Al-Harith As-Suda'i narrated: Allah's Messenger ordered me to call the Adhan for the Fajr prayer. I called the Adhan, then Bilal wanted to call the lqamah. Allah's Messenger said: 'Indeed the brother from Suda' has called the Adhan, and whoever calls the Adhan he calls the Iqamah.'
